Theatre:

Play On:  Are you in the mood to be entertained?  Do you want to laugh your socks off?  The Evergreen High School Play is coming up in just a few weekends!  Play On is a hilarious play about a theatre troupe trying desperately to get their show together before opening night.  This show includes 3 acts- Act 1 represents a rehearsal that goes horribly wrong, Act 2 is the disastrous dress rehearsal, and Act 3 is the actual performance.  Shows for this incredible play will be November 13th, 14th, and 15th at 6:30 and 1:30PM! Go support our wonderful actors!

Choir:

New and exciting things are happening in the choral area of the school!  Choir is just getting started this year- you might have heard them at the homecoming game on Friday, October 17th.  They also have a concert coming up on Thursday, October 30th at 6:30PM- the middle school choirs will also be singing, so please go support our singers.  No tickets required- it’s free!

Marching Band:

Marching Band has been working extremely hard this past week, with practice every day after school.  They also had a sendoff performance for state on Saturday at 5:00PM on the football field.  Previously, the EHS Cougars Marching Band placed 7th in state at regional qualifying, and are aiming to score higher for their state performance.  State for Marching Band is Monday, October 27th- wish them luck!

Visual Art:

Mr Clagetts 1st and 2nd period have been working on some new clay projects, and jewelry making is currently in the middle of metal smithing key chains and pendants.  While advanced jewelry is doing a silver casting project.  If you want to see impressive art work made by students here at EHS, stop by!
